Jayanthi gives private violin & viola lessons, and teaches elementary strings in Corvallis. She is a senior at Oregon State University, double majoring in Honors Music Performance (Violin) and Biology, and studies violin under Jessica Lambert and composition with Dr. Dana Reason. Past violin teachers include Gisela Voigts and Arun Rozario. Concertmaster of the OSU Chamber Orchestra, since 2014, Jayanthi performed Beethoven’s Romance in F Major with the group in May, 2016. She is a member of the violin section of the Corvallis-OSU Symphony, and has been the assistant orchestra librarian since 2014. Jayanthi will pursue simultaneous careers in music and infectious disease research after graduation.

Jayanthi
Jayanthi gives private violin & viola lessons, teaches Elementary Strings, and performs in Corvallis. Her teaching style combines traditional methods & Suzuki materials with original compositions and hands-on activities. She is a senior at Oregon State University, double majoring in Honors Music Performance (Violin) and Biology. She has studied violin under Jessica Lambert since 2012. In her spare time Jayanthi enjoys hiking, reading and learning new languages.
